In Spring many blossoms can be seen at Bear Springs Blossom Nature Preserve.
Red-buds, Buckeyes, Cherries are beautiful, windflowers cover the ground.
In summer our oaks provide shade, cool down the air.
Wrens, Chickadees, Mockingbirds, hummingbirds, bring life to the air.
Late fall and winter flocks of Robins have visited our preserve on their way North.

Five different oaks species turn to wonderful fall colors providing food and a home for wildlife.
Our climate is dry, rain gauges show that we are far below average,
but sudden floods wash away good soil.

BSB maintains nature preserve in Pipe Creek and Hunt, TX. Other nationalities call them nature reserve, nature preserves, wildlife reserve. We are protecting native wildlife. Conservation of forest is important to us, as well as wildlife conservation. We do environmental studies about once beautiful nature. We can show that nature protection helps humans. Bear springs blossom members explain nature, practice ecological restoration.
