In Spring many blossoms can be seen at Bear Springs Blossom Nature Preserve.
Red-buds, Buckeyes, Cherries are beautiful, windflowers cover the ground.
In summer our oaks provide shade, cool down the air.
Wrens, Chickadees, Mockingbirds,
hummingbirds, bring life to the air.
Late fall and winter flocks of Robins have visited our preserve on their way North.
Five different oaks species turn to wonderful fall colors providing food and a home for wildlife.
Our climate is dry, rain gauges show that we are far below average,
but sudden floods wash away good soil.
let's hope for gentle rains, and for a lot of visitors enjoying
and supporting Bear Springs Blossom Nature Preserve!
